What is not yours is not yours

This was a strange little collection of stories. All the characters woven together and I'm not sure I got the overall picture, if there even was one.

This is the most magical book I've ever read, and not in a 'magic realism genre' way. Instead, everytime you look up from reading, before your eyes readjust, you can see ghosts and tigers trailing behind the other people on their own commutes to work.

By just a few pages into the first story, I was reminded again of how much I love Oyeyemi's fabulous storytelling style. I'm generally not a fan of short stories and, though I've read a few collections, I often don't make it all the way through a book of short stories because I get too bored with them or the quality varies too much between stories.
